  Mini exercise to explore new technologies, Could be a good magazine cover or editorial piece. The robots are designed to look friendly, to give the message that its not as scary as it sounds.

  Story Question - Collaboration  A brief was given to us that involves working alongside health and social care students to produce a natural trail for children and parents. There were two stories/groups to choose from, I have selected Clover the Caterpillar.  I have chosen this one because it is well thought out, concise and it targets children with special needs which I think is all too often overlooked. If my work is suitable and they like it, it will be printed and become available for children to really use! It will now be sent for proof reading by the national literacy trust, ill make any changes they request and then it will be launched.

Company Brief I have also decided to submit something to the VCCP brief, which is to create 3 illustrations for 3 stories about parenting fails. The style is simple, and they only want line art. If my work is selected I will be creating more of these to be published in their book. Being selected would potentially mean shifting some of my other projects around to accommodate, but this is something that I will only need to consider in the event that I am successful.  The Stories My Ideas (need to have less line weight on the right hand side)

  Natural History museum- Advertising campaign For my third project I have decided to create my own fictional brief, a brief to produce an advertising campaign for the natural history museum. This would include a large scale (A0 APPROX) billboard style piece, and a piece designed for display on social media. I am also considering an animated social media post, a reel. I wanted to do this project because I would like my portfolio to show examples of advertising work, so that companies I apply for can see the various uses for my work.  Initial Ideas Generation A more specific campaign for this new exhibit would be a better idea for my project I believe, and is a more realistic example of a real world brief. maybe a less creepy child Flying with a flock. Surrounded by birds (there would be even more birds if developed) Started drawing up the flying with birds concept, but I really wasn't enjoying painting it and I wasn't sure how good the outcome would be. It was also taking ages...
